Christians Reaching Inner-city Birmingham (C.R.I.B) is a ‘not-for-profit’ Christian led organisation based in Birmingham and was founded by Monique and Glen McKen in 2014. Monique and Glen's own personal experiences as a teenagers was the compelling force behind starting an organisation that would help young people on the threshold of adulthood, make better choices and navigate life with a sense of purpose.
The objective of CRIB is to provide a one-stop support service for youth, particularly for those living within the toughest parts of the city.
We provide three main services:
CRIB Youth Support Service (for youth aged 16-25)
CRIB Smart (for children age 6-15)
CRIB Faith (for youth and young adults aged 16-30)
Our services are open to young people of all faiths (and none), all cultures, social backgrounds, ethnicities and nationalities. Our aim is to show the Agape love of Jesus Christ to everyone and to build a community that our young people want to be part of, are proud of and feel connected to.
CRIB is a Community Interest Company (CIC) Ltd by Guarantee. We operate as a “not for profit” organisation and all our work is centred around delivering a free, quality service for the children and young adults of the community.
Ages 16 - 25
Our CRIB Faith project provides a support service for young people affiliated with any church or Christian led organisation in Birmingham.

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second is, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Our mission is help children & young people DISCOVER, DEVELOP & DELIVER their purpose in life, and to help them reach their full potential.
Our vision is to see our young people achieve greatness in their lives. By listening to, valuing, empowering, challenging and educating our youth it is hoped that they will become proactive members of our community.
Our aim is to see community groups, local businesses, churches and statutory organisations come together for the benefit of our youth.
